As far as this goes, I did not expect to be warded. Until just before Christmas. Bone spurs were found at my knee joint. Okay. Being ignorant I just let the medical diagnosis wash over me. I just wanted to get it over and done with as I was quite excited about Christmas.
The bone spurs did a great job damaging my right knee joint. There were just too many of them. But my knee managed to be saved. Of course, by being saved, it meant that I had to give up a few things.
So I was kindly and gently told by the doctor that I had to give up playing badminton. What ???? There you go. Merry Christmas. No more playing badminton ??? Yes. For life. It is just like telling a pianist that he can't play music anymore. Depressing. I love playing badminton.
Of course, there are other things that I had to do to save my knee from further destruction - namely losing weight. I can see the triumphant smile across my mom's face as she heard the doctor's sermon. I am sure she was very happy with him. She has tried in vain to make me lose weight.
I have to avoid using the stairs from now on - as in climbing stairs...I can live with that, no problem at all.
Room 8822 - a very comfortable 4-day stay which I would recommend to people who might have life-altering lifestyle experiences.
Of course, make sure you are covered by insurance. Although the doctors are really good, the service excellent - sometimes the hospital policies are the exact opposite...
uh..to each his own..
and thanks to all who prayed for me..it really helped..God bless them !
